Send a Message to Frank Beminio 		Frank has been a resident of Belmond since 1997. Serving as both an Officer and Chief of the Belmond Police Department for many years. In addition, Frank served on the Board of Trustees for the Belmond Community Hospital d/b/a Iowa Specialty Hospital, for sixteen years. Frank is married to his beautiful wife, Trish. Mayor Beminio’s goals are to make for a better Belmond, provide a better quality of life for all residents and expand business and industrial development.

Send a Message to Earl Kalkwarf 		Earl is a lifelong Wright County and Belmond native. He spent 3 years at ISU and then returned to start farming with his father. He farmed for 32 years and then worked for Environmental Health for Wright and Franklin Counties, as well as serving four terms on the Belmond City Council. He married his lovely wife, Julie, in 1990 and have 4 children and 15 grandchildren.

Send a Message to Kevin Schultz 		Kevin and his wife Cyndi moved to Belmond in January 2024 after retiring from the federal government as a senior officer. Kevin was born in Mason City but his family moved to the Washington DC area when he was 2 years old where he grew up and lived in Maryland for 58 years. Kevin enjoys travelling and spending time with family and friends. Kevin and Cyndi were married in 1990 and have two daughters, Lea, who lives in Australia and Sara, who lives in Maryland. He has been to over 80 different countries and lived more than nine years overseas. Kevin served in both Operation Enduring Freedom “Afghanistan” and Operation Desert Storm “Iraq”. He has also spent time in conflict areas like Somalia, Sudan, Syria, and Libya. His background and experiences are in commercial real estate management and facilities.

Send a Message to Kyle Tulp 		Kyle has lived in Belmond for 28 years.  He married his wife Lindsay in 2016 and have two children, Karsen and Nora.  He has worked at Hagie Manufacturing in Clarion since 2013.  He began his career at Hagie Manufacturing on the assembly line and has worked his way up to a Customer Product Support Representative which he has been doing since 2016. His hobbies include: hunting, dirt track racing, boating, and spending time with friends and family. He joined the Belmond City Council in 2021.
