Belmond is a community of about 2,400 residents with features that rival cities many times our size.

With modern infrastructure, a dedicated workforce, and a wide assortment of recreational opportunities and attractions, we have just about everything you need to be here, build here, belong here.

Whether you’re interested in work or play, Belmond has you covered with our state-of-the-art school system, our award-winning hospital and clinic, and our charming and safe hometown atmosphere. Add to that our low cost of living and the community of Belmond really does have it all.  

No matter the season, there is always something going on in Belmond. Spring and summer bring our annual City Wide Garage Sale, Kites over the Prairie, our famous Fourth of July Celebration, and the impressive Highway 3 Corridor Three County Yard Sale. Fall and winter offer their own celebrations including our well known Prairie Homestead Annual Antique Power and Country Craft Show, the annual Fall Festival / Autumn Family Fun Festival, and our Parade of Lights to kick off the holiday season.

This website is a collaboration of the City of Belmond and Belmond Growth Alliance.
