R.O. Jacobson Fund for Belmond

2026 Grant Application

The Richard O. Jacobson Fund for Belmond Committee is excited to announce the opening of it’s 2026 grant cycle. Announced in August 2019 the Richard O. Jacobson Foundation endowed the Fund for Belmond to provide significant funding to projects that strengthen Belmond by proactively responding to community trends and opportunities. This grant program seeks to address critical challenges and opportunities in the community and provide seed funding to leverage dollars for high impact projects.

The Committee is asking organizations interested in applying for the funding to submit a Grant Application to tgoeman@greenbeltbank.com by January 31, 2026. Questions can be directed to Larry Turner at (515) 571-3264 or windingcreek@frontiernet.net.

Grants may be made to charitable organizations or causes with a 501(c)(3) status, to governmental agencies serving a charitable purpose or to a fiscal sponsor to projects considered charitable in nature. Organizations unclear about their eligibility are encouraged to contact the committee for guidance. The minimum grant request is $25,000.
