Belmond 2024 Spring Residential Clean Up – DROP OFF

April 26 @ 10:00 am - April 27 @ 1:00 pm

The annual residential clean up will be held in the SPRING this year on April 26th 10 am – 6 pm AND April 27th 10 am – 1 pm. You will be able to drop off at 523 Second Ave SE (the brush pile).

  • Proof of residency will need to be provided at the time of drop off (utility bill stub or similar proof of residency)
  • Each property within city limits that receives a city utility bill will be allowed one trip (“pickup load”) to the Brush pile to place items in large dumpsters. Public works will be available to help with larger items that need mini excavator.
  • What NOT to bring: Light ballast, yard waste, recyclable items, construction and demolition materials (bricks, concrete/asphalt, shingles, dry wall, siding, lumber), hazardous waste (chemicals, paint, oil/gas, propane tanks, asbestos, etc.), household trash, electronic waste (televisions, monitors, printers, computers, VCR, DVD).
  • Appliances and passenger tires (limited to four (4) passenger car tires per address (no large truck, ag/implement tires accepted)) will need a City-issued sticker attached. Stickers are available at City Hall, 112 Second Avenue NE. Mon – Fri 8-Noon, 1-5 PM
  • Sticker cost:
    • Appliance: $20
    • Vehicle passenger tire: $5 ($9 with rim)
    • Pick-up passenger tire: $7 ($10 with rim)
  • Brush pile for grass, leaves, branches and trees will be closed Friday and Saturday.
